New Items for My 2012 Craft Shows

I recently started making Fabric Covered Baby Wipe Cases.  I loved making them.  I have only made 6 so far and have sold one already.  Planning on making at least 2 dozen more before my next craft show the end of April.

Some people call these Boutique Baby Wipe Cases but since mine are no way near perfect (practice makes perfect), I cannot claim that for mine.  I do like cute, colorful fabrics and coordinating ribbon and embellishments for mine.

Here are the 5 that I have available still.

I have these listed in my Bonanza booth so please go to www.bonanza.com/lynnscountrycorner .  You can find these in the Mommy and Baby category towards the top.

As soon as I get more cases I will be making lots more of these.   I will gladly do custom orders too.  Just shoot me an email.

You don't have to use them for baby wipes.  Use them for small craft supplies, napkins when traveling, hair bows and barettes, small toys (like cars or army men), sewing kit, first aid kit, small tools, etc...

Let's Help Small Businesses Instead of Corporate America

The first part of this saying is from someone on Facebook that was being posted around the holidays.  This saying holds true throughout the entire year and not just around the holidays.

"When you buy from a small home business, you are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home. You are helping a Mom put food on the table, pay a mortgage, pay for a little girl’s dance lessons, a little boy's jersey for his football/soccer team or help a student pay for college. Our customers are our shareholders - and they are the ones we strive to make happy. Thank you for supporting small home businesses!"
The second part of this is from me personally that I want to add on because it not only affects me currently but many many many other families out there trying to make ends meet.  I get so sick of hearing about these CEOs making millions while there are millions of us in the US still struggling to find a job or some kind of income to help meet everyday needs of food, housing and utilities just to stay alive.

"You're also helping people who are unemployed that have been steadily looking for work but cannot find anything so they start a small business out of their home in hopes to make ends meet and be able to keep up with their utilities, pay on their only vehicle and not have their house foreclosed on because they can't pay their mortgage on one income."

I too am guilty of helping those CEOs buy another vacation home, take another First Class trip to some exotic location or buy a huge yacht.  There needs to be more "Mom and Pop" stores, restaurants and gas stations so maybe these corporations will think twice.  I myself would love to open up a gift and craft store but finances prohibit me from doing so.

New Company I Joined

I love candles and have been with many home-based candle companies that have had to close for one reason or another.  So, after some thought I joined For Every Home which offers candles, melts and warmers along with home products.

I am trying to reach a goal by January 15th to have $500 in sales to earn a free kit.  I would love to offer you some of these amazing products.  You can book online parties and earn free hostess gifts.  Below is the January Hostess Gift.
